Bring your lifecalendar.io backup with you.
Life Calendar by Siten is an independent life-in-weeks calendar. It reads the JSON backup file that lifecalendar.io creates, so your calendars, chapters and events can continue here. It is not affiliated with lifecalendar.io.
Three steps
- Download your backup. In lifecalendar.io, use its Download option to save the JSON backup file to your device.
- Open Life Calendar and choose Import. Open Life Calendar, press Import, and select the file.
- Review and confirm. You see how many calendars and events will be added. Nothing you already have is overwritten.
What carries over
- Every calendar and its name, with its own date of birth.
- Every event and range: title, exact start and end day, color and emoji.
- Dates are kept exactly as stored in your file. They are never shifted by time zones.
What does not
- Sharing links from lifecalendar.io. Create new ones in Life Calendar after you sign in.
- Theme and layout choices that are not part of the backup file. You choose them again in Settings.
Your data
The file is read in your browser. It is only saved to your account if you are signed in, and you can export a backup from Life Calendar at any time. Exporting and importing stay free.
